Spotlight on Santiago

Our organization is currently working in conjunction with the City of Santiago, Dominican Republic, Universidad Superior de Agricultura (ISA), and Fundación GLOBANIMAL Dominicana to build and fund a spay/neuter and emergency care clinic as well as a small adoption center. This project will be the first publicly sponsored animal relief effort in Dominican Republic to date, an island with over 250,000 stray dogs living in intolerable conditions. This partnership between non-profit, university and municipal government will be used as a model of excellence to improve the lives of the hundreds of thousands of suffering animals in other developing nations throughout the Caribbean, South and Central America.
