Our Mission

To Provide a brighter future for abandoned, injured and suffering animals in impoverished areas of our world. GARF provides funding, volunteers and supplies to organizations offering free surgical neutering, free veterinary care and food vouchers, emergency medical care and immunizations in impoverished communities where there is no public or private infrastructure to support these programs.

Dominican Republic

Fundación Dominicana Para Animales Abandonados:
Founded in 2009 by Erica Bauman, the FUDOPAA seeks to mitigate the growing issue of stray overpopulation and suffering by partnering with local veterinarians to offer free spay/neuter operations, immunizations and food vouchers to impoverished communities. GARF works closely with FUDOPAA, donating food, medical supplies, quipment, and providing volunteers.

Asociación de Amigos de los Animales de Sosua:
GARF provides donations of food, transport crates, medicine and volunteer support to this grassroots organization that has saved and improved over 5000 lives in the northern coast of Dominican Republic since 1997.
